THE KUNTS

The Kunts are an Essex punk band formed by Kunt with long time collaborator Carsehole on guitar, and twin brothers Rubber Jonny (bass) and Fucksticks (drums).

The Kunts released their debut album Kunts Punk In Your Face in 2020, before scoring a surprise Christmas hit single with their protest song Boris Johnson is a Fucking Cunt (2020, no 5). They followed it up with a further four hit singles - Boris Johnson is STILL a Fucking Cunt (2021, no. 5), Fuck The Tories (2022, no.5), Prince Andrew is a Sweaty Nonce (2022, no.20) and Scrap The Monarchy (2023, no. 9 - as The Krown Jewelz), all achieved with no radio play, no TV and no print press.

Prince Andrew is a Sweaty Nonce was an Indie Chart no. 1 and the best selling single of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. Scrap the Monarchy was an Indie Chart no. 1 and the best selling single of the King's Coronation. All 5 hit singles had alternative SFW versions that BBC Radio chose not to play in the chart rundown. Neither did they announce any of the song titles, even though Scrap The Monarchy contained no expletives and was released under the name The Krown Jewelz.

In 2023 The Kunts scored over 8 million views across Facebook and TikTok with the video for their song Bum The Runner, written about the TV presenter Philip Schofield.
